Our Fried Food Frenzy Picture

This is the only shot of the fried food we ate at the fair. Temre ordered the onion rings and shrimp, she thought it was a few pieces . Look how big those things are. They even had fried poptarts and Chocolate Dogs which are a corn dog but a tootsie roll instead of hot dog. We didn't try any of the poptarts or chocolate dogs YUCK.

That is it!!

Fergie Concert / Fair Grounds continued....

I couldn't post all the pics, so here are some more from the concert night.

Saturday July 19th - Fergie Concert

Tony got me 4 tickets to the Fergie Concert at the Orange County Fairgrounds. Michele, Temre and Tricia came with me. I do have to say this was the most fun I had in a long time. We went to The Beach Pit BBQ in Costa Mesa for dinner. All I can say is YUMMO. I had Baby Back Ribs, Homemade Potatoe Salad and Blueberry Corn Bread and of course a beer. If you have not tried this place it is a must. Then we were off to the concert. The traffic was horrible due to the Fair. We ended up with a great parking spot near the concert and had Patron shots in the car. Then proceeded to the concert. The opening band was Carney. They are a new local band. The lead singer had a awesome voice and was very cute. While running out to get some beers we ended up seeing Josh Duhamel (from the show Las Vegas and Transformers) he is Fergies fiance. We also got to take pics with the band Carney. Fergies performance was amazing. She sang so awesome. She had a special guest show up to help her out with a few songs, Slash from Guns and Roses came out and jammed with her to Sweet Child of mine and Barracuda. Then we headed off to the Fair for some after concert munchies. If you like fried food, the fair has it. We had funnel cake, Tater Tots, Nachos, Onion Rings and Fried Shrimp (see Temre's photo) can you say stomach ache. My stomach was not feeling very good for 2 days. Then Michele talked us into getting on the foot massage machines at the fair ground. OMG, they felt good after standing the whole time at the concert. Thanks ladies for the fun night your the best.

Mission Viejo High School - 5K run

Mission Viejo High School put on a fundraiser event to help raise money for childrens cancer. It was a 5K run at the Eltoro Marine Base. I was very surprised that I ran the whole race in 34 minutes and ended up in the top 30 runners. This was a great mile stone for me. It really shows that bootcamp is paying off for me. I have been getting in stronger shape and now am excited to do runs. I look forward to the next 5K run.

RainForest Cafe - July 18th

I took my Girl Scout troop to Rain Forest Cafe for one of their Cookie Sales treats. It was really fun. The kids had a great lunch and the parents had a great time enjoying some adult conversations.

July 14th

I am as usual late with blogging. Things have been so busy. Tony and the Kids took me to Rip Tide for my birthday for dinner. The Morgans joined us to celebrate. We had yummy food and drink. The kids had fun as our cook threw rice into their mouths.

Here are a few pics of our dinner.

4th of July

Sorry things have been crazy lately and haven't had a chance to post much.

We spent the 4th with Wendy at her In Laws house (we go there every year). We had so much fun. Chris buys firecrackers and stuff (not sure where) but he does. We get to watch them in their front yard and the kids enjoy doing the sparklers. We had mexican food this year and man it was delicious. Chris made his homemade taquitos, Wendy made her yummy enchiladas, Mary made homemade chili relleno's (my favorite). I made spanish rice and some dips and snacks. The kids swam and played in the pool while us adults sat and had some drinks. Very fun.
