Boot Camp Fashion Show Party

Code Pink Bootcamp held a Fashion show (sports clothing) at a mansion in Newport Beach last night. It was on Balboa Island right on the water so beautiful. Their was food, drinks and shopping which was fun. I won a free month of bootcamp (5 days a week) worth $300 in a raffle. Pretty cool huh! Michele won a Nutritional package worth $500 too. We all had a great time there and enjoyed the fashion show.

June 20th-24th Campland on the Bay

For our Family vacation this summer we went to Campland on the Bay in San Diego. We camped in our motorhome. We had so much fun. The kids could ride their bikes and scooters all over the campground without parent supervision. They have a private beach, Pool, Jacuzzi, Store, Ice Cream Shop and tons of things for the kids to do like crafts, dodge ball, bingo. Lots of activities.

We were there with a bunch of friends, The Calcaterras and Morgans our camp buddies. Our new friends Kathy and Chris and we met one of their friends Misty who has a daughter which made Alyssa happy. She never has any girls to play with.

Deb and Brad took us on their boat to Paradise Hotel which has a awesome bar where we enjoyed some adult beverages and appetizers. The hotel is awesome. The pool has a sandy walk in like a beach and they have bungalos you can rent and stay in right on the sand and water. Not sure what the cost is on that LOL.

Back to reality Ha Ha.

June 18th Continued....

Alyssa is moving to the 4th grade. We are so proud of her. She did awesome this year in Miss Knox' class. Miss Knox is moving to a new school next year with Mr. Mahoney. We will miss them both. Alyssa had a end of year BBQ with her class to celebrate. She is a great student and we know she will do awesome in 4th grade.

June 18th (sorry I'm late) :o(

Today was the last day of school (June 18th). I am late blogging as my camera decided to break the a.m. of the last day of school. I had to borrow friends camera's (thanks girls) you know who you are.

Aaron Graduated from Elementary school. What a great milestone. Here are a few pics of him walking thru the clap out. All the students at all grade levels surround the school and the 5th graders walk thru the crowds and everyone claps. It is very cool. Aaron is going to 6th grade and we are so proud of him and his accomplishments this year. His grades have improved tremendoulsy and we are so happy for him. He will be heading to Carl Hankey for 6th-8th. It will be a new adventure for him and I know he will excel in Middle school. Great job Aaron we are so proud of you. Love you!!!

After school got out on Weds. Aaron had a Graduation Pool party and invited several friends from school. It was fun to see everyone unwind and have fun.

LAST WEEKEND

We did our Annual Palm Springs Trip. It was so fun. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend. We layed out all day and then had a quik dinners at the hotel and off to the Karoake bars for some fun filled singing. Of course we sang after having several shots of Patron Tequila. I went with Wendy, Michele, Cindy, Vickie, Karen and the crew from Carlsbad. We stayed at the Hilton Spa and resort and had a pool side room. VERY NICE. What more can you ask for we had hand delivered drinks at the pool and loads of fun. Here are a few shots at the pool. We have some great pictures of our evening out, but they are on Paula's camera. Can't wait to see them all. I will post when we get.

Still doing Boot camp at least 4 days out of our 5 days. Man... she is kicking our booties. I am tired but feel very different with the exercise.

Things with the kids have been hectic. Aaron is graduating from Elementary school and heading off to Middle School, I can't believe where time goes. I am so excited for him. I am sure his journey to middle school will be a great one. We are proud of you Aaron!!

Alyssa is going into 4th grade. We know she will do great in 4th grade. Congrats Alyssa on another great year.

With Sadness we are losing our principal Mr. Mahoney. We are going on our 3rd principal since we moved to Viejo. Mr. Mahoney has done so much for our school and has made Viejo a home to all the children of all ethnic backgrounds which makes Viejo unique. We are very sad to see him go. Good luck Mr. Mahoney we wish you the best.

Monday we take all the 5th graders to Mission Viejo Lake which will be fun. We have Carlos our Taco guy serving up street taco's for lunch. The kids can swim and enjoy raffles and fun with their friends. Very exciting.

Gotta go, have a great night.

Here is Aaron playing Volleyball. Okay i have to find these again. I mis filed them :o( sorry Aaron I will post them I promise.

Last week we went to the beach to the Bill Holden Memorial Paddle Out. Aaron and Tony paddled out on their surf boards and joined the hundreds of people in the circle to celebrate Bills life. Bill Holden was a surfer, Friend and a board shaper. He passed away on Superbowl Sunday of a heart attack. He was in his 80's.

Tony finally got his long awaited Tatoo. After trying to figure out what design for months he finally went with the cool tiki guy. Way to go babe I love it.

Catching Up

Things have been so busy this month I am going to have to catch up in one post LOL. Sorry. June is terrible for me every year.

My Brownie Troop bridged into Junior Girl Scouts at the beginning of the month. They get to graduate into the green outfits. Alyssa looks so cute. I am a very proud Leader. Congrats girls.

I promised a few pics of Aaron playing Volleyball. The season is over. Alyssa's team placed second and got a trophy. Aarons team played for 2nd but didn't win but they played their hearts out and did a great job. The kids both seem to really enjoy it and expressed interest in doing it again.

Memorial Weekend we went camping again with the Calcaterra's. We went to California City which was smack out in the middle of the dessert. The trip was fun, the kids enjoyed the dirt, riding quads, buggies and Aaron and James found a turantula (spelling?). We had a great time as usual with our friends.
